Tom Lee-Richards – ‘As Far As India’

Infectious island rhythms, sophisticated synth hide-n-seek and the harmony to bring you home; ‘As Far As India’, the new single from Tom Lee-Richards, is a nostalgic celebration of life.

Another collaboration with award-winning producer Countbounce (Jarryd JamesTroye Sivan), the song is already starting to make waves on international blogs and was just added to high rotation on the acclaimed Double J radio.

‘As Far As India’ reveals more of the highly textured, rhythmic strut introduced in‘The Wearing Kind’ (dubbed ‘Single of the Day’ on the AUReview) whilst showing off more of Tom Lee-Richards’ idiosyncratic vocal style.

With a childlike lens, ‘As Far As India’ moves through imagery of growing up in New Zealand and calls out to the memories that shape us.

The single is available through iTunes, Spotify and other streaming services.

Watch out for Tom‘s video editing debut in the video for ‘As Far As India’, out now. No stranger to involving the community in the process of creating art (see ‘The Wearing Kind Project’ a Street Art/Dance collaboration), Tom has once again brought his audience into the spotlight. The video is a collection of real childhood moments given by friends and fans and has been shaped into an incredible journey from the past forwards.
