Pop can rightly traverse all manner of serious subject matter, from social and political to cultural and sexual issues. Sometimes, just as rightly, it can be about the fun and joy to be found in life.
Auckland singer songwriter Miller Yule has the latter very much in focus with his new song “Diamonds”, a sweet piece of guitar driven pop/rock about falling in love.

Here at Crave we’ve followed Miller since our inception. We’ve seen him debut his full band, we’ve discussed his first EP “Shoot Me In The Heart” and we’ve seen him open for Ben Harper a year ago at the (then) Vector Arena, in front of his biggest audience yet. But we hadn’t heard so much from him in recent months.
So Simon caught up with Miller in Auckland this week, to chat about “Diamonds”, and about his plans for the future.
