Steve has had the great good fortune to be at Paul McCartney’s recent Auckland concert, while Simon enjoyed Cat Stevens’ show at Spark Arena a couple of nights earlier. Both were outstanding shows, but Steve’s a little less convinced about Sia’s show a week earlier at Mount Smart Stadium. Opinions also differ a little on the latest Star Wars instalment, The Last Jedi, but Steve’s delighted he’s been to see Paddington 2. Simon and Steve also have a quick look through the year’s entertainments, and pick out highlights, and a couple of lowlights, from 2017.
