It’s been a busy week for Steve and Simon. Monday evening saw them both at Auckland’s Trusts Arena, where they were very impressed with Melissa Etheridge and Sheryl Crow. Steve has also seen English soul singer Rag n Bone Man, as has our guest reviewer Sue Wells, and Steve and Sue share a few thoughts on the shows they saw, Steve in Auckland and Sue in Christchurch. This week’s films include A Quiet Place, The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society, and Early Man, which Steve enjoyed possibly a little more than Simon did. And Steve’s been talking to Penny Ashton, who is currently touring the country with her new one-woman show Olive Copperbottom.
