He’s been called the King of Prog Rock, and also the most successful musician you’ve never heard of. Those who have heard of him are clearly a devoted lot, as Englishman Steven Wilson has sustained a career for 30 years. He played here in 2016, and will return to New Zealand for a single show at Auckland’s Bruce Mason Theatre on November 12. It’s a three hour music and video extravaganza which will primarily showcase his latest album, To The Bone.
Simon caught up with Steven on the phone from England, and chatted about the show, music, social media, and why you won’t see Steven Wilson wear shoes on stage!
