St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival is only ten sleeps away and we can’t wait to give the beautiful Silo Park an incredible farewell with a day jam-packed with some of the most exciting musical acts on the planet.
Festivals are all in the planning. We’ve done our part, and now we’re excited to reveal the timetable and map for this year’s Laneway so you can plan your day. Save the timetable to your phone, compare with friends, or print it and get your highlighter out so you can see as many of the amazing acts on our line-up as possible. Our mates at Pandora have made this mixtape to help you get in the Laneway mood.
Speaking of our killer line-up, there have been some exciting new releases from some of our artists this week with Grimes’ video for Kill V. Maim which is getting love everywhere from Time.com to all the music sites you know and love. With impeccable timing, festival closer Flume has dropped the first track off the yet to be released album Skin. Check out Never Be Like You feat. Kai and get excited about wrapping up your Laneway with his brand new show.
If a full day on 1 February isn’t enough for you, we have a couple of pretty amazing Auckland Anniversary Weekend events to tell you about.
The Night Before Laneway – Head to the Kings Arms on Sunday 31 January for High Dependency Unit and Avoid! Avoid! Free with your Laneway ticket or $25 from Under the Radar.
Do you like eating? Us too. If you take your Laneway ticket with you to Auckland Seafood Festival (just down the road) on Auckland Anniversary Weekend, you get 50% off General Admission tickets. Find out more.
Laneway has sold out for the last four years, so if you’re still waiting to book your ticket – now is the time! The forecast is for a beautiful day and we’ve done heaps of work to make the site even more comfortable and fun than in previous years with more shade, lots of water and extra space and a rumpus room in the silos! We can’t wait to see you at Laneway Festival 2016.
