| “Coming to Australia and New Zealand offers a chance to share stories from the ancient world with live audiences. Whether through the podcast or on stage, it’s about bringing these moments from the past into the room and exploring them together – there’s always more to uncover, and new perspectives that change how we see these histories.” Tristan Hughes is an expert on ancient history. He has produced and presented History Hit’s The Ancients since 2020 and released more than 600 episodes, making it one of the most prolific and widely listened-to history podcasts in the world. Sharing his love of Earth’s earliest civilisations – and bringing their triumphs and defeats to life – The Ancients remains endlessly curious, uncovering incredible stories from the past. Live on stage, Tristan will delight audiences as he explores his own influences and inspirations, and unpacks some of the most iconic stories from ancient history. Joined at each show by a very special guest, Tristan will spotlight a monumental moment from the ancient world at every event – from Mesopotamia to Rome, from Kushan to Angkor Wat – and discuss a rich range of stories in the tapestry of humanity. It’s all up for discussion. Promising his signature warmth and vivid storytelling, don’t miss the opportunity to see Tristan Hughes live on stage in Australia and New Zealand for the very first time. ]FANE PRESENTS: THE ANCIENTS An Evening With Tristan Hughes Tickets on pre-sale from 2pm, Tuesday May 5 General on sale from 11am, Thursday May 7 via fane.com.au |
